In April, Vastint Romania launches #BreakForGoodDeeds – An invitation to solidarity and life-saving through blood donation

On April 17, for the second consecutive year, Vastint Romania in partnership with the Digi Group (Digi24, Digi FM, and ProFM), takes #BreakForGoodDeeds and come together for a noble cause. We invite you to join this initiative during a coffee break. Choose to donate blood and save lives!

Last year, Vastint Romania was the first private company to join the national civic responsibility campaign initiated by Digi24, entitled “We Have the Same Blood”.

On April 17, we await you, at Business Garden Bucharest, where part of the Bucharest Blood Transfusion Center will be relocated. Let’s go in the “Break For Good Deeds “! Join our 8-hour marathon for life, hope, and saving those in intensive care units. Together we can brighten the Easter holidays for those in need.

Donate blood during #BreakForGoodDeeds 

This year too, Vastint Romania aims to attract as many donors as possible who want to donate a part of their blood for the survival of others less fortunate. The demand for blood is enormous, and each donation is crucial to support hospitals and those in need of transfusions.

In mid-April, two weeks before Easter, Vastint Romania in collaboration with the Digi group, invites collaborators and employees from office buildings to be more generous and donate blood.

“We are pleased to announce a second edition of the We Have the Same Blood campaign organized within the Business Garden Bucharest project. Following the success of last December’s campaign and the positive response from the Business Garden community, we concluded that it should not be a singular event, but a pilot one,” points out Sorin Macoveiu, Commercial Director of Vastint Romania.

“We thus propose to continue the partnership with the Digi Group, organizing a new blood donation campaign this month. We can do more than that, so under the umbrella called #BreakForGoodDeeds , we will invite the Business Garden Bucharest community to be an active part of a series of projects and events with a positive impact on society. We warmly invite them to join us on April 17, in this new endeavor, in the same location as last year,” adds the representative of Vastint Romania.

Take a break for good deeds

Join us too to save 3 lives during a coffee break. Believe in the power of good deeds and donate blood because it is the only medicine that cannot be bought. Today, blood donation is essential for saving lives. Canceling operations due to lack of blood is no longer necessary, and lives should not be endangered due to insufficient hospital stocks.

Last year, Vastint Romania joined the Digi group in the blood donation campaign, expressing the desire to contribute to changing mentalities and providing valuable support. The commitment continues this year.

Be kinder and more generous

“We Have the Same Blood” is the largest and most ambitious national project of a news television for the benefit of patients. The Digi24 station project debuted on December 1, 2022, managing to mobilize 5000 donors from 19 counties so far.

This year, in the run-up to Easter, we urge you to be generous and give life. Blood donation not only brings moral benefits but also some extremely useful ones in everyday life. As of this year, the value of donation vouchers has increased to 280 lei, with an additional day off at work, as well as discounts on public transport. Plus, you’ll enjoy a set of free tests.

In addition to these benefits, blood donation also brings benefits to your health. A single donor can save 3 lives by donating 450 ml of blood. This process is carried out by specialized medical personnel, guaranteeing you regular medical checks and an improvement in overall health.

Who can be a donor? Anyone over 18 years old and weighing at least 50 kilograms. You must be under 60 years old and not suffer from chronic diseases, as well as not have undergone surgery in the last 6 months. It is an opportunity for anyone who wants to make a special gift during this holiday season and bring a smile to those in need.
